DC Comics: Brand Engagement

The Ask

DC Comics requested the Voce creative team to create background images and ads for their social media channels. These graphics would introduce the new “peeled page” branding for the publisher. The graphics would feature various characters from DC Comics properties, focusing on current events running through company’s titles.

The Answer

The Voce creative team created collateral based on the theme that the DC heroes’ influence extends beyond the page. All of the images created allowed the characters to break through frame created by the “peeling page” brand, showing that these characters are beyond two dimensional ink on paper.

Special care was taken with the YouTube and Twitter backgrounds to make sure they blended with the background colors of the pages to create a seamless experience on even the largest of monitors.

As an additional bonus to the client, a Twitter background featuring the Justice League was was reworked into a desktop background for fans to download.
